My Thinking Space
"When you put something beautiful into the world, it's no longer yours" — Bandit
This is what I hope to achieve by cultivating my thoughts in this digital garden. While the thoughts recorded here may be mine, the questions and possibilities will be shared by many. I hope in trying to find my own clarity that my musings can help guide others too.
This industry has such a strong focus on learning technical skills, code frameworks, architecture patterns and infrastructure management that it can be easy to neglect the critical human skills required to succeed within technology.
This digital garden serves as a quiet space to record, organise and grow my thoughts on the "Soft Bits" of Software Engineering, exploring team dynamics, strategy alignment, career progression, what it means to be a leader and who I want to be in my career.
My aim is for this to be a place where thoughts and concepts can be ever-evolving, growing as the industry evolves and I change with it.
Maturity Levels
Seedlings () are thoughts barely started. Maybe recorded to ensure I can come back to them or a question I have heard and would like to explore more.
Saplings () have been afforded dedicated time to research and discovery to allow me to expand my thoughts and opinions on the subject.
Trees () are grown-up coherent pieces of thought / expression that should not change much except for some editorial enhancements.
